Growing a few rows of Grenache Blanc in California is rare enough, transforming the grapes honeyed taste into wine with clarity and mineralogy is rarer still.

Beautiful aromas of white peach, lychee, wet river stone and gardenia dominate the nose. Palate shows green apple, lemon curd, and honeysuckle. The finish is both lush and rich yet surprisingly refreshing and bright.

Last night, I met Marc Lhormer, CEO of the Napa Valley Film Festival and the creator/producer of the film "Bottle Shock". Along with others from the festival, we went outside to sit down and have appetizers and wine.The waiter made a suggestion on the wine and said "we have one of the finest white's we've seen in a long time and I would like to recommend the "Loomis". We ended up ordering three bottles and it was fantastic. Marc ten said "Perhaps my next film could be on how an Ad executive, launched a Vineyard and made a great wine"
